Doodle God, launched in 2010 by JoyBits it was a puzzle game that gave a twist to the world-building genre. Doodle God grew into a series of games that included titles such as Doodle Devil, Doodle Mafia and Doodle Farm. While Doodle God Universe will feel familiar to those who've played any of the games before, Paul, a brand evangelist for JoyBits who prefers to only use his first name, says that in many ways this is an entirely new game. Doodle God Universe comes with modern icons of redrawn elements as well as 3D scenes and more reactions. There are also modifications to the game’s difficulty and speed.

"Easiness and speed are essential for the modern gamers, and you can feel it in Doodle God Universe thanks to the modern animations of all actions made by players, a simple UI design that makes it easier to use and an evolving scoring system that entices players to search for new reactions," Paul told CNET via email. " The game adapts to the logic and style of each player today.

The Doodle God series is an A+B=C style game, according to Paul. Games like Triple Town, 2048 and Little Alchemy have similar mechanics which require combining elements from the past to create new ones. Minecraft Tekkit Servers The official trailer for the game shows that combining fire and bird creates an phoenix. Paul says that Doodle God's unique mini-games and content and its puzzles and art distinguish it from other clones and variations.

The game also benefits thanks to Apple's new hardware, including 5G and the A14 Bionic chip.

Paul stated that "the power of the modern Apple devices including iPads, iPhones Macs, AppleTV -- and many other great technologies, like Metal -- all this allowed for us to implement all our most innovative game design ideas and concepts," Paul added.

For many years gamers have had hours of entertainment by playing games that build worlds, such as Minecraft, Terraria, Terraria and Stardew Valley. Paul states that Doodle God Universe, just like all world-building games is about exploration and discovering the unexpected.

"World building games can be fascinating for an awfully long time, and lots of players want to re-read Doodle God over and over time like a good book," Paul said. "And in a situation where a person is almost always at home, what could be better than rereading your favourite book, watching your favorite TV show or re-creating Doodle God Universe?"

To enjoy the most enjoyment from the game, players picking up Doodle God Universe must be open to experiments, Paul says. Doodle God Universe rewards curiosity.

"Use your imagination, make creativity your engine," Paul said. "There is no predetermined pattern for the game. You can apply your thinking skills to combine elements or create them chaotic.

With the launch of Doodle God Universe, Angry Birds Reloaded and Alto's Odyssey, Apple Arcade is nearing 200 games with more games to come.
