System Restore is your first line of defense and can take you back to a point before the issue started like a time machine. You can always reverse it in case it doesn't work. You can go through the tutorial first and then restore to the point you were before it began. If System Restore is not enabled on your C drive do that now to ensure it is accessible in the near future.

If the problem repeats or System Restore doesn't work then check which Windows Updates were installed at Settings > Update & Security > Windows Updates > Update History, uninstall them there or System Restore again, then immediately check for and block the Updates with the Hide Updates tool explained here: https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/8280-hide-s...

Even if you've already tried the steps I provide, please repeat them in order. Game servers

1) Run the Store apps troubleshooter from Settings > Update & Security Troubleshoot.

2) Check for and install updates to games on the Microsoft Store app > Hub (three dots in the upper right) > Updates.

3) Reset Minecraft in Windows Settings > Applications > Apps and Features > Minecraft > Advanced Option Repair or Reset. Restart PC and try again.

If none of these work If none of these work, remove Minecraft from Settings, restart your computer, then reinstall MS Store Hub (three dots at the top right of Store app).

4) The driver for Display is so vital that simply updating it is sometimes not enough. So let's try everything possible to ensure it's functioning properly:

You can update the Display driver via the Display adapter or PC manufacturer's Support downloads page. This will provide the exact model number, HP Serial No. or Dell Service Tag - which is indicated on the sticker on your computer.

You can also search for BIOS/UEFI firmware, newer chipsets as well as network, sound and other drivers by right-clicking on the Start Menu.

If this doesn't give you the latest or ideal driver for what you need, compare it to the driver offered by the Intel driver update Utility here: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/... or the Nvidia Update utility here: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Scan.aspx?lang=e... or the AMD autodect utility here: http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/P...

Display issues can be fixed by rolling back or uninstalling the driver on the Display Device > Driver tab. Then restart your computer to install the driver.

You can also try out older drivers by going to Device Manager > Display device > Driver tab > Update Driver > Browse > Let Me Select.

Then you will know you've tried everything except to Windows Update drivers.

You can adjust the resolution of your screen until it looks good. Go to Settings > System > Display. Minecraft servers
