In this sub-culture community of social nudists I'm really curious in keeping the notion of personal privacy. nudism don't have the same concept of personal privacy as the cloths.
For Fabrics, the overall concept of personal privacy has a modesty to immodesty ratio that greatly tends toward modesty - from our point of view. Our overall idea of private privacy greatly leans toward immodesty - from their point of view. Theirs and our limits of personal privacy are in different locations. For us the nude is no longer a private item. Our immodesty has limitations, however. I'm interested in finding where those limits, both for myself and for the established community.
I remember being on my first visit of the local club, and getting the tour round the grounds. I was surprised at finding the showers were unisex and open-plan. Thinking back it all makes sense, but back then I was coming from a point of view of a just-coming-out closet nudist (essentially a cloth). I believe most nudist do not. beach babes are just not comfortable about washing all their bits and bottoms with others. Those areas need a concentrated effort if it's going to be done correctly. I am now comfortable giving the regions a quick once-over. Everyone's got touches and bums after all.

Dressing and undressing is inherently 'Textile'. Most of use will just put on or take off at will, without the need of some privacy to do this. Textile street fashions - particularly womens' trend - are going toward being less humble. Over time pants have been worn lower to showcase the knickers underneath. Tops are somewhat more transparent, showing bras and camisoles underneath. Skirts are designed in this way that the they're readily blown up by the wind. There's a slow trend to being less humble and more - in a way - nudist .
beach babes give it 50 years and New Zealand will be a societal nudist nation. Our private solitude will extend to having unisex open plan showers at the local swimming pool. I hope I can see the years outside until then.
