To put things into a quick perspective I am a relative novice to social nudism I view social nudism as a subculture to the prevalent culture of the areastate to which the social nudists go

In naturism of societal nudists I am quite curious in keeping the concept of personal privacy. We do not have the same concept of personal privacy as the fabrics.
For Fabrics, the overall concept of private privacy has a modesty to immodesty ratio that greatly incline toward modesty - from our perspective. Our overall notion of private privacy heavily leans toward immodesty - from their point of view. Theirs and our limits of personal privacy are in different locations. For us the nude is no longer a private item. It's public - within our community. Our immodesty has limits, however. I'm interested in finding where those limits, both for myself and for the established community.
I recall being on my first visit of the neighborhood club, and getting the tour across the property. I was surprised at finding that the showers were unisex and open-plan. I believe most nudist don't. Some of us are just not comfortable about washing each of their bits and bottoms with others. beach blondes need a concentrated effort if it is going to be done properly. I'm now comfortable giving the areas a quick once over. Everyone's got bits and bums after all.
Dressing and undressing is fundamentally 'Textile'. Us doing it communally makes our undergarments less modesty things than just practical clothing things for warmth. Nearly beach babes of use will only put on or take off at will, without the need of some privacy to do so. Textile street fashions - especially girls' trend - are moving toward being less modest. Over time slacks have been worn lower to show off the panties underneath. naturism are somewhat more transparent, showing bras and camisoles beneath. Skirts are made in such a style that the they are readily blown up by the wind. There is a slow trend to being less humble and more - in a way - nudist.
I give it 50 years and New Zealand will be a social nudist country. Our personal privacy will extend to having unisex open-plan showers at the local swimming pool. I hope I can see the years out until then.
