WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to share a truth many MMO players aren't aware of The truth is that all DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowing down for even one second will cause them to be dead. They must keep killing and swimming. This is what MMOs do to the sharks. You don't need to ask how a shark can play or type. The rogue who refuses to wait for the healer, tank, or any other DPS will to do what he does. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff members might be a shark, but I'm unable to confirm or confirm or deny that. Perhaps they reveal his or his or her status as sharks in this week's WRUP, or perhaps it's just a normal summary of our weekend plans as always. You won't find out until you've read the next section. Getspout But you can let us know by commenting below what you're up to.

@Beau_Hindman - I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It's a fantastic single-player game, and is definitely one of my most played games. For MMORPGs, I'm testing out the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter, which I think is one of the best-looking and sounding MMOs currently available.

@nbrianna It's going to be fun!

@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently occupying my side game slot, and though there are a variety of elements in there which I'm not entirely thrilled with, I am enjoying myself. Beyond that, there's bound to be more Final Fantasy XIV questing to complete and various endgame snarky jollities to get involved in, so that'll be my primary concentration.

@Sypster I don't have any grand plans for the weekend. I'm currently in the pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online Helm's Deep. I'm likely to play additional scenarios from The Secret World, and maybe even try some of the World of Warcraft stuff the youngsters are raving about these days.

@mvmatt: I've got a weekend plan that includes schoolwork, soup and, if it's lucky some video games. I'll likely be playing Warhammer Online to remind myself why I stopped playing it (and reflect on the amazing things that nearly made me stay) before the servers shut down next month. In addition, I would love to revisit Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I have been neglecting them for some time. Maybe, just maybe, I'll end some of the sloppy players in Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster: This weekend, I'll be looking into the Three Spirits Dota 2 update. I'll also be playing World of Warcraft; that Warlords of Draenor announcement has me all up in the air again.

@MJ_Guthrie: I'm planning to concentrate most of my gaming time (and I will have some whatever, sickness be darned!) trying to accomplish more in the war on Filth in The Secret World. I want the pet and the bee suit so desperately that I don't know how to get enough tokens. But I will try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When not engaged in that I will be playing a game or two and testing new builds. I will also be trying out different races to become my new Channeler in EverQuest II. It has been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. After that, it'll take me only 30 hours to personalize the look. But wait, there is the name thing...

@RichieProcopio: This weekend I'll be drunk and hallucinating. I'm not attending a frat party. I'll be in the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine comrades have been up to in Kessex Hills. Oh, and Hearthstone!

At the start of every weekend, we catch up with the Massively staff members and ask them, "What are you playing this week?" (Otherwise known as: WRUP!) Join us to see our gaming-related activities. You can also catch us in the comments section and share your gaming experiences with us.
