Sailing Naked

Perhaps among the finest experiences a person can have is to sail naked. There are many reasons for this. beach bum is that should one be able to sail un clothed then the weather would need to be warm and bright to make the prospect inviting, additionally if one can sail, then some wind will likely be making itself understand and the vessel will be leaning to it . Even in colder climes when I have needed to wear clothing to ward off the elements I never tire of the miracle that is clearly a sailing vessel only using the wind to drive through the ocean. Sorry I digress, anyhow another factor, ( unless one is a serious exhibitionist) is that there WOn't be a lot of other vessels around and for me an empty sea is a joyful sea. Whether there are beach girl on board, then if ones relationship to them WOn't be strained by sharing such an intimate encounter, it might even be enriching.
Sailing can be a physically demanding pastime, frequently one has to move quickly, its not until one has had the delight of going without clothes does one realise how restricting garments are. When beach bum was on my way (singlehanded) back across the Atlantic in my beaten up schooner "Gloria" the the most productive sail was one that went by the name of "the fishermans" this four sided gem went at the top between both masts and was astonishingly strong in light airs. nudism was that as soon as the wind piped up it had to come down. I'd grown quite tired of this caper and the following sewing up of rips that came of it. This one special time it did it, the entire sail drifted forward and wrapped itself around the foremast top, I understood that in a very brief time it'd be rent beyond repair and I climbed the mast to free it. Wearing only a suntan I was amazed how easy it was. It really was a revelation. How well this process would decrease in Solent sailing circles I dont know, I daresay the RYA and health and safety would have at least something to say on the matter!
Another marvelous thing about only wearing ones skin is that it is an inescapable section of sailing that from time to time a bit of the wet things will throw itself at you. In naturism are wearing clothes they're going to get wet, and as its sea water, the salt will then discontinue the garments from ever correctly drying until it is rinsed with fresh water. Fresh water can be very valuable on a sailing boat far from land, it's not to be squandered in rinsing out clothes. So if one doesn't wear any, it will not get dirty and need washing does it? Along with all these amazing gains one gets a nice even tan, what could possibly be better?)
