What private server would you recommend to somebody who never played wow before?
I am a fairly casual player for most games. I have 0 exp in WoW. I want to eventually access the newest content/lore. I am located in Europe. Serverlist101

I would definitely recommend you a fresh server, as it's the best way to enjoy the full experience, with people leveling side-by-side with you. Whitemane (january 2021), Precision (19 Dec), and Whitemane (19 dec) are the next releases. Both have very positive reviews.
How can they get positive reviews when they haven't even released the book yet? (Sorry, if you're stupid.)

Is Whitemane not a Spanish speaking server?
Play on a WOTLK (lordaeron or another large WOTLK server) OR on Tauri's MOP server - which is a more recent version of the game. WOTLK is the best server to start with. Tauri also offers a WOTLK Server called crystalsong that allows you to level up much faster.
But playing on an original 1x experience server is good, unless you don't have much time to play (then you can try a server with high XP rates).
Thank you. I think I will try Tauri, while I wait on Precision, since these 2 seem to me to be the most commonly answered. Let me confirm that wotlk can be translated to wrath for the lich king.
Finally, (sorry to bother so much) does it matter in which expansion I start it? (Is it possible for me to lose content/progress in expansion A when I start in expansion C) Is it possible for every server to make progress through expansions, as Precision plans to?

However, it will still be an issue for everyone else.
Although I would recommend later expansions, not everyone makes them. I wouldn't recommend starting with older expacs. You can check my post history by scrolling down a bit to see a recent comment on why newer expacs would be better for new players.

Lordaeron Warmane is a great choice. It's one among the best scripted servers, with one of the most populous populations. The 1x rate allows for a true wow experience, with no pay to win.
Try warmane wotlk, then apollo cataclysm and then tauri mop.
Recommending other than vanilla server to a totally new wow player is blatantly idiotic, recommending server with pay2win and cash shops should directly be punishable
Wait for a new server to arrive (Precision, Whitemane), or try Dalaran wow. Dalaran wotlk servers have an eternal progression system that allows you to experience all raids in the expansion. This is in contrast to fully progressed servers, which can only give you the last raid tier. Serverlist101

Try searching this subreddit first. Every day, we get the exact same question asked... it's becoming annoying.
Don't listen. Find a populated server, such as Atlantiss Karazhan or Warmane (The Burning Crusade), or play retail.

I recommend to a new player that they choose a server that interests them and stay with them. Wow isn't a complex game by any means and you'll pick it up quick.
If you're looking for a relaxed experience with questing where the quests are read and the lore is shared, this is the place for you. I would say Mist of Panderia TauriWoW.
This server is the most advanced expansion server with polish. Over server like wow freaks you'll experience lots of bugs and un finish able quests.
If you are looking for a community (don’t listen to people complaining about toxicity, the ignore button works for some reason don’t be afraid to use it), I would recommend Ascension wow. It's currently the most active server. You'll still find a community on most servers.
